Yet another year completed here in the land of rising sun.never felt that 2 years have passed by and seems like it was just yesterday..last year's in the lovely scenic beauty of Nikko and this year at the Zozoji Temple near the Tokyo Tower in the very heart of capital of japan... With around 3000 people holding on the balloons with there wishes attached by a string shoots off towards the sky on the very second the new year is approached...unfortunately the time when we all reached there the balloons were already sold out...well wat it matters is that we enjoyed the very moment of this distinct way of celebrating the upcoming new year. Tokyo Motor Show Well its been really long since i posted my last blog...Just came back from 40th Tokyo Motor Show organised in the huge arena of Makuhari Messe..i am spellbound for the magnificant showcasing of the beautiful ladies shining like crystals in all colors and making the specatators eyes wide open with it's beauty, elegance & style.For me its my maiden visit to lay not only my eyes but probably my hands on these damnshells beauties shining & radiating waiting to be touched by the admirers. The crowd was totaly stuck at the Ferrari stand and i was kind of lucky to take a glimpse of it...but my only regret was i couldn't lay my hands over it.. Lotus, Porche, VW, Mercedes, BMW, Lamborgini and quite a number of Japanese brands like Suzuki, Nissan, Mitsubishi made their presence felt to the audiences. Well i could sneak out and was successfully able to lay my hands over the beauties(when the MEN in TIGHTS not looking over me) dressed in Sexy Red, Mild Yellow ,El...

Amazing Medieval Samurai music Well i was surfing through the net when i came across this japanese band "Uttara Kuru"..some of their songs were so majestic that i felt as if i am back in those mediaval samurai days within the mountains deep inside the forest of trees bearing sakura flowers blossoming in the nature. When i searched for these band in Wiki, i came across one amazing fact that kind of googled me altogether - Tibet is where the uttara kurus came from.The celts are uttara kuru. Other than the Kurus of India ruled by the Pandavas and the Kauravas, there was this another kingdom called Uttara Kurus (Northern Kurus) to the north of Himalayas. The very fact these days that i find is none of the things that exist in this world whether its discovered or yet to be undisclosed has some way or the other has come hidden connnection with my motherland..after all we are such an civilization which contribute so much to the mankind and will continue to do so till the Apocalypse....

Seeking Nihongo Doctor This Monday morning like any other day, i woke up @ 8:30 am and was in a dilemma whether to go office or not..for something that has already happened to my eyes...Red eyes..yess thats wat really i saw on sunday morning when i woke up and was in the toilet to brush my tooth ..and suddenly i could see the red blood marks in both the eyes... Friday night in tokyo Its said the every IT enginner hates Monday and would love to have everyday to be fridayer when he can hang out with friends and enjoy a nice dinner which he dont have to cook.Well its been an year in tokyo and friday day always makes remember of Mumbai locals with ppl crowded like a fish-market and standing so close that u can even feel the smell of the deo...if u lucky then u could standing next to a cute japanese woman ! The one funny thing is that u can see ppl of the age of your grand-pa swindling while walking all along the way.Some of them falling like a house of cards while walking and some looking for support inside the train while the trains moving @ the speed of 90 Km/Hr.One decent thing that i appreciate of these ppl behave like civilized and calm not ike others who spit out fouls speech once they fultoo tight !

India have announced their 15-member squad for the 2007 World Cup, and it's pretty much what most of us would've imagined so not many surprises there. Rahul Dravid (captain), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar (vice captain), Saurav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Mahendra Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik (both wicket-keepers), Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan, Santhakumar Sreesanth, Ajit Agarkar. I'm slighly wary by the gamble India are taking by keeping Sehwag but with two matches left against Sri Lanka before the World Cup he'll hopefully prove his worth (I hope). Sapporo Snow Festival 2007 Well it was another great weekend here in japan.This time we decided to pay a 3 days visit to Sapporo , the capital of Northern territory of Japan..called Hokkaido .The main attraction during the winter season is the Sapporo Snow Festival which attracts million of people around the world to see hundreds of beautiful snow statues and ice sculptures. We took a early JAL flight from Haneda to New Chitose Airport and it took only 1 hr 10 mins to reach our destination. One of my friends told me that New Chitose Airport is Japan's most advanced airport and it always open whatever the weather may be..oh if start comparing this with INDIA then i will almost ruin my mood...The trip here would be different as we have to roam around and see things in a temperature well below Zero degrees... yes the temperature can go below minus as well...And on our way to Nakajima Koen, the place where our Hotel was situated; we came across a LED display board displaying the ...

Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Well its a dream for everyone to watch things live rather than being watching it on tv live.. With such a similar kind of dream which i also had, got fullfiled on 5th Feb here in tokyo watching Hingis playing just infont of me 2o feets away..in the WTA tour finale. It was a something different when i saw Hingis and Ivanovic, the Russian Babe entering the center court...the whole stadium was echoed with the clapping and cheers. I had a kinda of notion that Hingis will play against Sharapova but when saw Ivanovic play, i was kind of sure that this finale is gonna be a tough one. And the way the match went i never felt that hingis is up against a 19 years Russian. Though in the end Hingis won the match by 6-4,6-2, anna did gave hingis some tough challenges. New Year Eve in Japan !!! This is my very first new celebration outside India amongst the strange people. Though i was around some familiar faces but was really missing my family. We around 19 Indians went to a hill station called Nikko for this new year eve. I have already been to Nikko before but like others this place looks different in the winter. The mountains look white as if they were some kind of painted; i could not believe the way they look are real as this is the first time for me to see the snows on the mountains streps. Well the view was worth a penny. We stayed there in Nikko for 3 days. The hotel had a nice view as it was situated just opposite to the "Chuzenji Lake". The mantra for great holidaying are good food, nice view and good company. Also the Hotel had everything but when you have the On-sen then its becomes the perfect Holiday plan.
